For the Still Life pictures I took Pictures of Images that were completely still but conveyed some mort of meaning to me. I have a wide variety of different pictures and the way they were taken and the angles they were taken was the main reason I liked this assignment.
I found the layers assignment to be a very difficult and hard assignment to construct. However when I did figure out what tools and how to manipulate the program to do what I wanted it to do I found it very fun and interesting to create. It by for the most frustrating assignment but the most rewarding one to actually complete.
After taking an image with my 'talent' Zak using appropriate window light, we then took a picture of him in the studio to contrast it. And we used gimp to put the images together.
I took my portrait pictures this week for Photo Assignment Four. My subject for my favorite image was Jessica Hervey. She looks very pretty in this image and I like the low angle in which i took this picture. it really captures her personality and I like the way the light hits the top of her head, giving her an angelic look.
In this image I used for my panoramic i decided to take a picture of the outside rose bush near the school windows. It's a very pretty image in my opinion, and I was able to capture each picture in complete alignment with a tripod.
The image I chose as my best architecture picture is of the school building. I shot from a lower angle to take away any distractions that could have taken away from the image. This picture is very modern looking and describes architecture to its fullest. I love this picture its very versatile and sleek.
In this assignment I took images of nature around me at the school. I used a lot of close up images. This favorite picture of a simple pale pink rose and the inside cornels of the flower. A rose is often times considered the epitome of nature and I think this image, along with my other images displays natures beauty.
This is the new and edited version of my Car. This model is darker and the light spots have vanished. I was able to do this with my editing tools on gimp. Such as paintbrush and the crop tool.
In this image you can see Mr. Bush riding his bike in motion and he is captured perfectly while everything else is just a blur. This was the ideal affect for the motion capturer and with gimp I was able to make it more dramatic by changing the hues and the color depth in the image and make it look like this.
This is my Gimp assignment. In this I had to learn how to edit and crop my picture to come up with four images the exact photo yet with different colors. it was very interasting and it took a while to complete it however the final effect was great. And i love this picture of me.
This was the picture I took for my Macro. Macro is a close up zoomed in shot of an object. In this case a dangling earring. As you can tell this is a very close up picture of my earring and I was able to capture all the detail on this earring. The end result was a very detailed and refined object.
Photo One shows Line, on my friend Chloe’s shirt, lines are going strait across horizontally in a line pattern.
Photo Two is Symmetry, I took a picture of the school from the theater end of the building and looking strait ahead. The image that I received was symmetric.
Photo Three is Texture, the way in which the picture was taken from the angle to the closeness.
Photo Four is The Rule Of Thirds, I took a picture of my legs and my shoes are main focus I am sitting down on a curb and the way in which the picture was taken is an example of The Rule of Thirds.
Photo Five is Balance, In this image there is a picture of rocks on the pavement right next to a curb and a woman’s feet on the opposite side of the frame, making the look a a balanced look.
Photo Six is Shape, In this picture my purse is being photographed the interesting thing about this picture is not only can you see the reflection of yourself in the metal pieces, there was also a distinct square shape pattern following down the purse.
Photo Seven is Depth, In this photograph I took you can see a drinking fountain from a particular angle. The water drops that are closer to the actual fountain are more clear.
Photo Eight is Perspective, The image I took was from the third floor stairs looking down into to the floor, a perspective image ultimately.
Photo Nine is Color, I was able to capture the close up of the EXIT signs in all its bright green vibrancy.
Photo Ten is Frame, You see Ashton The subject through a mirror, her entire self is visible through the rectangular mirror.
Photo Eleven is Pattern, the images are of squares on the floor.
During this process I learned how to take very specific styles of pictures. Like always looking for the rule of thirds. This way I can make my images cleaner and more crisp. It really does make all the difference.
